Meet Camilla

“My manager has been very good at highlighting and utilising my strengths. He has been able to see my potential and has helped me develop it.”
Camilla
Health & Safety, Environment Specialist
Sometimes it only takes one person to see something in you.
For Camilla, that became the turning point in a journey that began more than 10 years ago at HTH. Administration wasn’t her starting point. She came from retail and had spent several years working in a store when she one day came across a job ad in the local newspaper: HTH was looking for office apprentices. Shortly after, she was invited for an interview — and got the position.
Her apprenticeship was shaped by a strong sense of community, where the apprentices ate lunch together every day and took part in social activities through the staff association. At the same time, Camilla experienced an organisation full of helpful colleagues: “There was always someone ready to help, guide, or explain how things fit together.”
Since then, she has grown through several roles — first as Environmental Coordinator, later also as Health & Safety Coordinator, and today in a cross‑functional specialist role.
Shaping Her Own Role
Today, Camilla works as a Health & Safety, Environment Specialist, supporting the health and safety organisation across Nobia in Denmark and contributing to the strategic work within environment and occupational safety. Although Camilla has gradually developed throughout her many years in the company, she experienced a significant boost in her growth over the past few years. It happened when she got a manager who recognised her strengths and gave her the space to use them.
With that trust came greater responsibility — and the confidence to take it. At the same time, Camilla feels that she can truly be herself in her role today. Over time, she has found a direction where her personality and professional skills complement each other, and where she no longer has to adapt to a role but can shape it herself. And that development is something she is particularly proud of.
